Chapter Seven
Harvard, California
While driving towards LA, Michael notices a motorcycle has been following their van. After briefly discussing what to do with Max and Maria, Michael pulls off the highway at the next rest stop. Keeping Liz and Maria in the van, Michael and Max prepare themselves to take the motorcycle man down.
As the man slowly approaches, and parks about 20 feet away, Michael and Max are shocked to see Eddie. Quickly lowering their hands, they greet Eddie with confused smiles. Eddie tells the four teens that the Special Unit has taken the Parkers and the Evans.
After the initial shock wears off, Eddie relays the information that Valenti and Amy are on their way to talk to Agent Duff. He also reveals that River Dog has a strange alien device that can track down alien life forms. Giving the teens all the alien artifacts that Max and Michael had buried, as well as the tracking device, Eddie, with some alien altered money, returns back to Roswell.
Maria calls Brody to see if he has any information about Liz’s parents and her own mother. Brody tells her about Jesse and Valenti’s plan to go public. Maria thanks Brody and turns back to the group. They all look at each other with the same worried faces.
Max has his arms around Liz, trying to comfort her about her parents being captured. Michael and Maria worry about what will happen when Isabel and Kyle arrive in Boston and discover that Jesse has taken off for California.
